Why is this happening? First - the Atari Gamer branding is changing to K-Retro Gaming to allow us to expand to providing games, replacement parts, and mod services to other game consoles. And second - The content management system running Atari Gamer is out of date and Google AppEngine (where the website runs) will no longer allow it to run after the 30th January 2024, so in order to preserve all content we switched to a new and modern content management system and chose a website domain that better suits the subject matter. Since we are operating this website in our spare time, on top of full time family and job committments, some features had to be dropped.
NASA discovered a mind-boggling Space-Time quantum crystal that can have many shapes at the same time. As the crystal does not need any energy to change states it is the ultimate building block for a quantum super-computresident/aaresident.cer!
The first probe on Titan, the moon of Saturn, hinted that there may be Space-Time crystals on the planet. The distance is too long for manned missions. So NASA decided to build an artificial intelligence drone for fetching the Space-Time crystals.
The only problem was that the weight of this artificial intelligence brain is critical. A mouse brain is not clever enough. A physicists brain weighs too much. But a gamer, like you, has a brain just small enough for the drone.
After a little persuation thay scanned your brain and built an exact replica. And launched the spacecraft towards Titan. The trip there takes many years.
Time passes...
Now in year 2040, your space craft is finally approaching Titan.
It is time to show the world that your brain can handle a simple task of picking up a few rocks and take them back home.
