We are moving all Atari Lynx related content over to Atari Lynx Vault and all our shop content over to K-Retro Gaming. Please update your bookmarks!
As a result of this change, the following will no longer be available: Online Lynx Emulator, Collection Tracker, Game Ratings, News. If you are interested in contributing content to Atari Lynx Vault, we are seeking editors and maintainers.
Why is this happening? First - the Atari Gamer branding is changing to K-Retro Gaming to allow us to expand to providing games, replacement parts, and mod services to other game consoles. And second - The content management system running Atari Gamer is out of date and Google AppEngine (where the website runs) will no longer allow it to run after the 30th January 2024, so in order to preserve all content we switched to a new and modern content management system and chose a website domain that better suits the subject matter. Since we are operating this website in our spare time, on top of full time family and job committments, some features had to be dropped.
If you're crazy about the Atari Lynx and love collecting retro games and consoles, you've found the right place. Atari Gamer is the #1 source of current and historical information for the Atari Lynx.
Atari Gamer is a historical preservation project for the Atari Lynx console. The major aim is to compile the most comprehensive list of past and present Atari Lynx game variants and associated collectibles out there. In addition to the game database, you will find tools to assist with game collection tracking, advise on game rarity, game cheats and tips, game reviews, news about the thriving Atari Lynx homebrew scene and a whole slew of amazing articles!
You can even experience what it is like to play an Atari Lynx with the online Atari Lynx emulator!
The game database was initially based on the amazing spreadsheet that MillipedeMan a.k.a Mark Little from the Atari Lynx Handycast has created and graciously shared. That data has been cleaned up and added to and is now available to browse over at the Game Search page.
The majority of the official release game images come from the EmuMovies website. EmuMovies is a project that started in 2005 to create video previews of video games to replace static screenshots in Gaming Front Ends. Cover art for all of the official game releases has been remastered by MLSchelps, box rear scans and game screenshots are by Circo.
