We are moving all Atari Lynx related content over to Atari Lynx Vault and all our shop content over to K-Retro Gaming. Please update your bookmarks!
As a result of this change, the following will no longer be available: Online Lynx Emulator, Collection Tracker, Game Ratings, News. If you are interested in contributing content to Atari Lynx Vault, we are seeking editors and maintainers.
Why is this happening? First - the Atari Gamer branding is changing to K-Retro Gaming to allow us to expand to providing games, replacement parts, and mod services to other game consoles. And second - The content management system running Atari Gamer is out of date and Google AppEngine (where the website runs) will no longer allow it to run after the 30th January 2024, so in order to preserve all content we switched to a new and modern content management system and chose a website domain that better suits the subject matter. Since we are operating this website in our spare time, on top of full time family and job committments, some features had to be dropped.
Note: the news section is no longer being updated. Please keep up with news via our social media posts.

There's been an update on the
Quadromania and
Space Battle games that are due to be released in April. Looks like cartridges and lapel pins are ready to go. It shouldn't be long until preorders start shipping.
Benn Venn just doesn't stop until it's all ready. If you've been following he started work on a Lynx LCD screen mod not long ago. He's now completed initial implementation and testing and the prototype PCBs are on order. These will go out to his Patrons and Atari Gamer will get a board to test out too. Keep an eye out for a review soon!
The upcoming TFT upgrade for the Atari Lynx from Benn Venn is making great progress. In days it went from a prototype board to something that's actually showing graphics on the display. It's not quite done but it's getting very close. 😎 BV will have full details of the kit on his
Patreon page.
The upcoming Lynx LCD mod from
Benn Venn is making progress. BV has shared a photo with Atari Gamer showing the unpopulated prototype board. This still needs all components installed and all the programming done, but it is a sign of visible progress! 👾 These boards are universal and cover all of GameGear, Lynx, and NGPC.
